3"x 150' White Tape

SKU: EF15853

$24.50

EcoFoil white insulation tape is a 3" x 150' polypropylene adhesive tape which maintains a complete seal in reflective insulation systems and is also good for repairs from rips and tears. EcoFoil white polypropylene tape is also resistant to moisture. When insulating a metal building, using our reflective white bubble insulation, white insulation tape creates a nice, seamless finish to the inside of your structure when the bubble insulation is left exposed. The high-temperature resistance of this thick white tape makes it ideal for use in heat repelling applications. Due to the pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive in this polypropylene protective tape, the insulation tape will form a bond with the bubble insulation which gets stronger over time.

When applying the white insulation tape, make sure the surface to which the tape is applied has been wiped clean with a dry cloth so that it is free from oils, dust, and dirt. It is best to apply the insulation tape by rolling out 1-2 feet at a time pressing the adhesive face firmly on the insulation, then rub from the center of the tape out toward the edges.

If you are using bubble insulation or a solid radiant barrier which has foil on both sides, you'll want to use one of our aluminum foil tape products like the 3" silver insulation tape.

Eco foil tape products

I have used the double back tape, aluminum tape, and white tape. They have all performed well, especially the double back tape to hold insulation up in my metal building.

Foil is great but tape is a waste

The insulation itself is worth every penny and very easy to install. The tape is 100% useless, we wiped down the foil with dry rags to remove any dirt particles and the tape to seal the seems still peeled off and or turned loose in the matter of 12 hours. We insulated a 50x60 cow barn and taped the seems but have since had to go back and put 1x4 strips of wood across the seems. I would recommend the foil to anyone but I wasted $150 on tape, wish I would have known.

Not a fan of this tape in a room with humidity

We've used this tape for all of our double bubble that we used on the ceiling. The joints after a couple of days, the tape pulls away, and lands on the floor. The only reason we can figure this is due to the level of 70% humidity. We are going to replace it with Gorilla brand white duct tape, and hope that it holds.
