This is my first time installing radiant barrier in my attic. I found the material to be easy to work with - not too thin, not too thick. 4 ft. size works well to cover large attic as a one person job. Ecofoil arrived quickly and on time. Very happy with the purchase and the price was very competitive with other competing products. The website was very informative and easy to understand different products for different applications.

July 2025. I'll start by saying the shipping was immediate, we received our order the next day which was wild! Full disclosure, we have not finished the entire attic because it has been too hot since it is July. We have 2 rows done, or about 8 feet high, and it has made an immediate difference already in the west and south facing rooms. I am excited to finish the whole attic and feel the full effect.

I am building a garage apartment and decided to add a radiant barrier to the rafters before enclosing the roof with insulation and sheetrock. I live in San Antonio so with the open walls it became extremely hot in the afternoon from the heat radiating off of the roof. After installing my radiant barrier there has been a huge change! I can work comfortably now, even in the attic space without having to take frequent brakes form the heat. This is going to make a huge difference once the HVAC is installed. Highly recommend!

I installed in a room that used to be a breezeway - on the concrete floor underneath the new floor I put in and two layers on each end, seperated with a 3" air gap. During this heatwave, there is NO difference in the temperature between the kitchen and this room, and I didn't add any ductwork - just left the door open. Easy to install!!!

I Installed on an enclosed side porch (18 x 7 feet) with a 12-inch uninsulated space between the ground and the floor, not accessible without ripping out the floor, which I didn't want to do. I have two inches of clearance on top of the old floor before it starts to interfere with doorway clearances. In the winter the floor, and the floor and the room itself, is cold despite wall and ceiling insulation, A friend said he had used an eco foil-like product in a similar situation with good results. So, I put in two layers of Eco Foil directly on the old floor and taped all the seams. Then added j1 inch high joists, 3/8 inch plywood subfloor and new 3/4 inch hardwood flooring from Lowes. I'd guess by January I will know if the effort was worthwhile. Even if not, the new hardwood floor is a big improvement over the old existing floor.
