It is not recommended to use this product as a shipping envelope. It is best practice to seal your temperature-sensitive goods in the thermal mailer, then place the mailer in a box or larger envelope. While the bubbles will provide minor protection for fragile shipments, we cannot guarantee it will reliably guard against breakage when shipped on its own. Always take extra precautions when packaging fragile shipments—extra bubble wrap or leftover newspapers are a great way to add extra protection against rough handling during its shipping journey.

The primary purpose of Thermal Bubble Mailers is for shipping temperature-sensitive products. If you ship food, pharmaceuticals, lipstick, or any product susceptible to melting, Thermal Bubble Mailers are a great way to combat hot temperatures while en route to its destination. While the double layer of polyethylene bubbles provide moderate protection from rough handling, we recommend taking extra precautions when shipping fragile or breakable items.

The dimensions listed in the product title reflect the outer dimensions of the envelope (not including the folded tab). Interior dimensions will be roughly 1/4" smaller than the dimensions shown due to the thickness of the bubble material. If you're unsure which size is best for you, it's safest to order an envelope that's slightly larger than the product you're shipping to ensure a proper fit.

EcoFoil Thermal Bubble Mailers are made with a lightweight, yet durable Double Bubble Reflective Insulation. The outer layer is made from reflective foil, and reflects 96% of radiant heat back to its source. The inner portion of the envelope lining features a double layer of polyethylene bubbles, which provides a thermal break between the air inside your package and the outside air.

The envelope lining is roughly 3/16" thick. This thickness provides minor protection against breakage. When shipping fragile items, we recommend taking extra precautions. Bubble wrap or leftover newspaper is a great way to add extra protection against rough handling.
