Foil duct tape is a metalized sealant tape also called HVAC foil tape. This reflective duct tape is meant to be used with our bubble insulation products or with our
solid radiant barrier to seal seams and create a smooth finish, or to repair any rips or tears which may occur over time. You can also use this foil duct tape to patch seams, rips, tears, and punctures in just about anything else!
Reflective foil duct tape is essential in any applications where you need to seal the seams. If you are trying to achieve a continuous vapor and condensation barrier, make sure you use reflective duct tape. An added advantage to the reflective duct insulation tape is that it tends to hold up better in hot locations compared to other non-foil duct tape options. The high strength acrylic adhesive will strengthen its bond with the surface over time and has a high termperature resistance.
Use this insulated duct tape as a replacement for HVAC foil tape or in conjunction with the R-8 HVAC duct wrap insulation product. Take advantage of reflective duct tape. If you are looking for an
aluminum foil duct tape which as conductive properties, we offer that as well. This product is meant to be used with our SCIF radiant barrier in RF shielding applications.
