What Is Foil Bubble Insulation?
EcoFoil® Double Bubble (Foil/Foil) Insulation consists
of two layers of 8 mil poly bubble insulation which is then covered on both sides by a highly reflective metalized/aluminum composition. It provides an
effective vapor barrier and also provides superior protection against radiant heat transfer.
Where Is Foil Bubble Insulation Used?
Wall Insulation - Double Bubble Foil/Foil insulation is commonly used as a vapor and condensation barrier in metal and post frame buildings. It has an R-value so it also has a thermal insulation value.
It can be placed on the outside of the roof purlins during new construction or attached to the inside of the purlins in a retrofit application.
