Since pre-engineered metal buildings are designed almost entirely of steel and metal, they are highly conductive in terms of heat transfer. It can be very hard to control the interior climate of these buildings without proper insulation. Ecofoil Reflective Bubble Insulation is one of the most convenient and effective forms of metal building insulation. It creates an excellent thermal value while also providing a condensation/vapor barrier.
Use EcoFoil to insulate the roof of your industrial building
Installing reflective bubble insulation on the roof of a metal building is easiest performed during construction while the builders are installing the metal roof panels. The insulation can be rolled from peak to eave and draped slightly between the purlins. A retrofit application can be done once the building is erected but will be more labor intensive.
IMPORTANT: When installing EcoFoil over the metal purlins and below your metal roof, be sure to allow the radiant barrier to have an air space for maximum effectiveness.
