Our 3" wide white adhesive tape covers more area and is nice for big jobs of white bubble insulation. White adhesive tape is essential when installing the foil/white bubble insulation and under concrete insulation. The white poly tape helps create a clean and visually appealing surface. This white adhesive tape acts as seam tape to connect seams and, if they should occur, repair rips and tears to your insulation. Using this white adhesive insulation tape means you will create a solid barrier against vapors and condensation. This white poly tape is 3" wide making it one of the wider choices for insulation seam tape. Similar to white duct tape, white insulation tape can also be used for a variety of other applications because it's strength and durability ensure that it holds up to the hot and cold.
This polyethylene adhesive tape maintains a complete seal in radiant barrier systems also good for repairs from rips and tears. White polyethylene tape is resistant to moisture, flame spread and smoke generation. When
insulating a metal building, using our reflective white bubble insulation, white insulation tape creates a nice, seamless finish to the inside of your structure when the bubble insulation is left exposed. The high temperature resistance of this thick white tape makes it ideal for use in heat repelling applications. Due to the pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive in this polyethylene protective tape, the insulation tape will form a bond with the bubble insulation which gets stronger over time.
If you are using a bubble insulation or solid radiant barrier which has foil on both sides, you'll want to use one of our
aluminum foil tape products like the
3" silver insulation tape.
When applying the white insulation tape, make sure that the surface to which the tape is applied has been wiped clean with a dry cloth so that it is free from oils, dust and dirt. It is best to apply the insulation tape white by rolling out 1-2 feet at a time pressing the adhesive face firmly on the insulation, then rub from the center of the tape out toward the edges.
