Double bubble white insulation, also called foil/white bubble insulation, is made with a double layer of polyethylene bubble insulation which has reflective radiant barrier foil on one side and a white polyethylene sheet on the other. The white is commonly used to create a streamlined clean look as opposed to having foil on both sides. Double bubble white insulation also acts as a vapor barrier and prevents condensation if white polyethylene tape is used to seal the seams. For metal building insulation, use double bubble white insulation on the outside of the roof purlins during new construction or attach it to the inside of the purlins in a retrofit application.
Like all EcoFoil reflective insulation products, the double bubble white insulation is easy to install and has several commercial and residential applications to help stop the transfer of radiant heat and begin saving you money.
