Insulate your living space floor from below using EcoFoil Between Joist Insulation. Most homes have either a crawl space or a basement below the main living level, giving you easy access to the joists. Adding this quick and clean insulation will add comfort and energy efficiency to your home.

EcoFoil radiant barrier insulation uses single or double layers of polyethylene bubbles sandwiched between highly reflective layers of aluminum, providing "r-value" and a radiant heat block. EcoFoil blocks up to 97% of the radiant heat from escaping through your floor giving you a new level of comfort.

EcoFoil is clean and easy to install

EcoFoil joist insulation comes in two sizes (16" and 24" widths) to make installation easy. Each side has a 3/4" staple strip to hold it securely in place.

EcoFoil is installed under your floor joists using two different methods. The first method takes advantage of the pre-cut widths to fit inside and between the joists. This method is great for homes where a finished basement is desired, allowing for drywall to be installed without interfering with the foil insulation.

The second method involves installing EcoFoil bubble insulation on the underside of the joists. This method is quick and easy and can take advantage of our larger 48" wide rolls.
