When installed and sealed properly, Foil Bubble Insulation can
increase the efficiency of your air conditioner. Foil Bubble Duct Insulation
is single or double layered polyethylene bubbles sandwiched between
two sheets of 99% pure aluminum radiant barrier foil. It's designed to
reduce radiant heat gain in a building's duct work as well as
reduce condensation.
 
Added R-Value per application method:
Application with a DOUBLE 3/4" air space - R-8.0
Application with a 3/4" air space - R-6.0
Application with no air space - R-4.0
